How to make a car insurance claim
#1
Lodge your claim online
We'll ask for details about:
- the incident
- the damage to your car, and
- anyone else involved.
This info will help get the ball rolling, but you can still claim if you don’t have all of it just yet.
If we need anything extra or need to chat, we’ll contact you.

#2
Manage your claim online 24/7
Make a claim online and if eligible:
- book repairs
- arrange a hire car, or
- pay an excess (if applicable).
Once your claim is lodged, manage it online anytime with your Bingle Online Services account.
#3
Go to a Bingle Authorised Repair Partner
Arrive at your repairer on the booked date and time. Once the damage has been assessed, we'll work out how to settle your claim.
If your car is repairable, we'll keep you updated as the repairs progress.
#4
Get back on the road (if your vehicle is repairable)
We’ll let you know once your car is ready or organise a total loss payout if appropriate.

How to lodge your claim when you’re not at fault
If you’re entirely not at fault and you have the other driver’s address and vehicle registration, you can lodge a claim and we may waive the excess. You’ll need to provide the at-fault driver’s name, address, and vehicle registration number.
